About us

The Family Dairy Farms project is a nationally recognized leader in the creation and development of dairy farms. The history of the project dates back to 2017, but its foundation is the industrial farm of the Ukrainian State Enterprise, which has been successfully operating since 1999.

PSP Ukraine has 1,321 heads of cattle, including 721 cows. Thanks to the high level of work of the project's specialists in the field of breeding and reproduction, the farm has received the status of a breeding farm for the breeding of Ukrainian Black-and-White and Holstein breeds.

The milk produced at PSP Ukraine is of extra-grade, which guarantees the highest quality. Thanks to the professionalism and well-coordinated work of the chief technologist, veterinarians and zootechnicians, the annual milk yield per cow is 10,200 kg. This is the result of continuous improvement of housing, feeding and animal care conditions.

Why do you need a farm audit?

As a rule, farm owners can collect and analyze information about the state of affairs on their farms on their own.
However, there are some obstacles along the way.

  • “Blurred Eye”

Being in the middle of the process, it can be difficult to remove oneself from the process and objectively assess the state of affairs

  • “It's the same on other farms”

Owners rely on false evaluation criteria and lower professional standards

    “I'm in a special situation”

There is always a temptation not to change the situation, but to find excuses for it

  • “My friends and family say everything is fine”

Owners are trying to reassure themselves because they are unwilling to make changes

Reviews

Halyna Kuzmych, family dairy farm “Molochna Riviera”

The audit results are extremely valuable for my farm. The report describes in detail all aspects of cow husbandry and health, which allowed me to get a clear picture of the current state of the farm. Information about the fatness, condition of the limbs, udders and general condition of the cows allowed us to make adjustments to the feeding and health care programs. Evaluation of feed rations and feed preparation has become the basis for improving feeding processes, ensuring more efficient use of resources.

Any questions left?

1. Is it possible to order an audit of certain aspects of the farm, for example only an audit of cow health or feeding?

Yes, you can order a partial farm audit. However, one should be aware that only during a comprehensive audit can all problems and shortcomings be detected, which may not be visible during a partial audit. A comprehensive audit allows you to assess the relationship between different aspects of the farm's operation. For example, feeding problems may be associated with inadequate veterinary care or improper storage of feed. Only a systematic approach allows you to develop effective strategies to eliminate these problems.

You can also order consultations with a veterinarian and/or zootechnician by calling +38 096 727 50 37.

2. How long does a farm audit take and when can I expect the results?

All conditions for conducting an audit are agreed upon by the parties in the Agreement, which determines the scope of work, the list of specialists involved, the terms of the audit and the cost of services. Before the audit begins, preliminary data about the farm is collected: the number and quality of cattle, housing conditions, feeding rations, information about equipment, and other aspects of the farm's activities.

The audit is conducted directly on the farm by specialists. Depending on the volume of the order and the size of the farm, this stage takes from 2 to 5 days.

Based on the audit data, a report is generated within 3-5 days, which includes a detailed description of the current state of the farm, identified shortcomings and problems, as well as recommendations for their elimination.

At the customer's request, a presentation of the report can be held, during which the owners and managers of the farm can ask questions and receive additional clarifications.

3. Is there any follow-up support after the audit?

After the customer approves the audit report and recommendations for development, any clarifications and clarifications of the issues specified in the report will be provided within the framework of the existing audit agreement. If the customer requires practical support to eliminate the identified shortcomings, a separate agreement for further support may be concluded at its request, which will provide for periodic checks of the effectiveness of the implemented changes.

In the event that the customer requires additional explanations or clarifications regarding the report, they will be provided within the framework of the existing audit agreement.

4. Can I choose an auditor to conduct a comprehensive audit myself?

Of course, you have the opportunity to independently choose an auditor to conduct a complex audit of the farm, but it is important to take into account the specifics of the tasks that will be faced by the auditor. The right choice of a specialist is the key to a successful audit, because only an auditor with the appropriate experience and qualifications will be able to conduct a deep and objective analysis of all aspects of your farm's work. We are ready to provide recommendations on choosing a specialist, which will allow you to find the best auditor to perform the specific tasks of your project. This will significantly increase the efficiency and accuracy of the audit.

5. What should I do to order an audit? Do I need to prepare for the audit in any way?

To order a farm audit, just leave a request on our landing page, specifying your phone number and contact person. We will call you to discuss what you are interested in, what questions or problems you would like to solve and arrange to speak with your specialists to get more detailed information about your farm. After that, we will calculate the cost and choose a convenient date for our specialists to visit you together. You don't need any special preparation!
